Welcome to a seminar with Ann Weatherall, well known social psychologist and discourse analyst. Her research passion is the study of social interaction in situ, with a particular interests in discursive psychology and conversation analysis; feminist psychology, and sex/gender and sexuality. A long standing concern is to better understand the relationships between gendered patterns of social disadvantage, language and discourse. At this seminar, visual and dsicursive interaction in psychotherapeutic training videos is under scrutiny.

Ann Weatherall is Associate Professor at School of Psychology, University of Wellington, Victoria, Nya Zealand.
