Richard Swedberg har utsetts till ny hedersdoktor

Professor Richard Swedberg at Cornell University will on January 29, 2016 receive an Honorary Doctorate from the Social Science Faculty of Uppsala University.
Swedberg has been proposed by the Department of Sociology. He has been recognized in sociology, above all, for his contributions to economic sociology and sociological theory. On January 28 Swedberg will give an open lecture: Can You Visualize Social Theory? On Theory Pictures, Theorizing Diagrams and More. The lecture will take place at the Main building, room XI (Biskopsgatan 3), from 14:15-15:30.
