Primary investigator: Marie Sépulchre, MSsc

This dissertation project aims to elucidate the relationship between persons with disabilities and society through the concept of citizenship, understood from a sociological perspective as ‘lived citizenship’, in the context of Sweden. The study is a qualitative study about disabled people’s experience of feeling ordinary and yet different. Citizenship, community, disability identity and rights are the central concepts of this project.
