Research fields

In order to provide depth and stability to the department's research, it is partly organized as research groups working within the research areas specific to the department's profile, led by a professor or senior scientist. The groups comprise both senior and junior scientists, doctoral candidates and research assistants. The groups' size and staticity, as well as the extent to which their activities are public, varies between the various groups. In connection with the groups are seminars presented under each research field.
